Jillian Banner
Hometown: los angeles, ca
class year: 2017
Jillian Bock Banner came to us in her third year at this fine institution. Having played soccer for most of her life, she yearned for a sport that would fulfill her desire for late indoor rec practices and handblocking opponents. In order to prepare for this jump to ultimate, Jill started early in life. Patience and self-control are important aspects of the game and she started training herself in these areas by dabbling in a frustratingly transient art medium: sand castles. She continued to defy the conventions of society when she gave her first pet a one syllable name: Tim. Tim helped pave the way to greatness, however. Not only has Jill aided in bringing Eclipse a national championship, she has also met the dude who plays the oompa loompas in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the Johnny Depp version, of course). In 47 years Jillian Bock Banner can see herself living in Alaska and when the winter darkness descends she will make a documentary about the Eclipse dynasty, in which Usher will serve as interpretive dancer.
